september 9-10th, 2006. bandung trip.

september 9th, 2006, 4am.
mas heru picked irma up and started the trip by pick yohan&siska up at bus stop near cibubur junction. It's
still dark, and the road is still a bit empty.we went to rumah madu (casa la dulce :) via taman anggrek, and
after several times lost, finally we arrived at 6am. apparently most people wasn't ready yet ! ;) but good,
cause we got enough time to have breakfast and drink... so, we left at about 8am to continue picking
up martha at bekasi.let's go, let's go.

the road is already a bit crowded of big vehicles and everybody's car who wants to spend the weekend
out-town. on the way, we stopped for a while at cikampek's fuel station, a big & crowded fuel station with many
restaurant and cafe, such as dunkin donuts, starbucks,solaria.

we took cipularang freeway (31.000 rp), and most participants slept on the way to bandung. but
sometimes woke up by the roughness of the road :)

such a coincidence, that bebek received sms from dr.lanty, told that she is in bandung. so, when we
arrived in bandung, we directly went to dr.lanty's place at jl.suryasumantri (near maranatha university,
not maranatha street bek ! :)

the reunion with dr.lanty is great ! she shared her experience in talaud/manado, about the people there
and other things. she treated us tasty soto ayam and soft drinks, then she became our tour-leader. (good:)
we went to wisma dapenpos at jalan ph.mustofa/suci near cicaheum to look at the room we've booked
earlier, and then we went to cihampelas street.

at cihampelas, we found nice accessories and had snack there, such as ice cream-pisa, es cendol elizabeth and
batagor. everybody had a hot weather-nice time, but too bad martha didnt get chance to meet agnes monica :)
after that, the group is separated, first group to rumah mode at jl.setiabudi and second group to the
train station to pick mba peni up.

the street began crowded with tourists, poor bandung locals... they can't feel comfortable at all on weekends because of the out-town people.
the first group spent about 2,5 hours at the outlets,and our reference is rumah mode, although the price is
more expensive than other outlets, but the quality is good. the atmosphere of the shop's interior is also
comfortable for shopping, clean and good fragrant. (aromatherapy ?)
there is a cafe bumbu desa and eaton bakery also.

we didnt stay at the hotel, but at iRma's brother house (lukman) at galeri 168, sersanbajuri - (the peak/kampung daun/cihideung direction), on the way there we pick our dinner : pepes nasi (7500), and had our dinner at home.
so tasty and warm... that lead us to sleep... :)

september 10th, 2006, 6.30am.
Queuing for the bathroom. after nice coffee time (made by billy ;) we packed our things (already a lot!) and the next stop is lembang. on the way to lembang, mba peni bought plants, called "jengger ayam". billy bought some other plants too. what a view, that we took some photos at the "garden" surrounded by colourful variety plants.

soon as we get to lembang, we had breakfast in LAKSANA sundanese restaurant. During waiting for the food,some participants looked for peuyeum and ketan bakar in pasar pamoyanan on the cross of the street.

after that, we went to a strawberry field in lembang (owned by a korean), and picked/bought strawberry there (70.000/kg). we also bought es mambo/yoghurt & tahu tauhid near pasar lembang, nice, nice :)
and paid a visit to karmel church for a while. Thank You, God...

Then, mas heru drove us to the bandung city, where we continued the rest of our trip.
Because of the huge traffic jam that caused by PASAR SENI (every 5 years event) in ITB (near dago), billy &
mas heru had to go by themself to PRIMA RASA cake & pattiserie to buy brownies at jl.kemuning, while other entered ITB.

The ITB complex is sooooo crowded with people. there was many kinds of interesting handicraft sold, and some attraction was played also. the group is absolutely separated in the crowd of people, and we met again together at GRANDE factory outlet, near Borromeus hospital on jl.dago.

hunting for clothes & accessories continued and we also visit other factory outlet such as blossom & victoria. after all are satisfied, we decided to go find dinner at HARTZ-setiabudi, but before that, we visited rumah mode one more time.

Too bad HARTZ setiabudi is over-budget :( (52000), so we decided to find other place, that is near BORMA
supermarket. There, we ate steaks, bihun/mie baso.

after full loaded... we're ready to go home. on the way home (via cimahi freeway-gate), we still
bought some bandung snack at mayasari cake&pattiserie,such as pisang molen & cheese sticks.(such luck, that
after we finished shopping, the shop is closed right away)

finally, we went home via cipularang at about 8.30pm. most were tired and slept on the way. we had such a
good time, all were pretty well-arranged, ...

so when is the next bandung trip ? ...:)

bogor trip

august 5-6th, 2006. bogor trip.

BBOS & PARKIR factory outlet - jl.pangrango/bogor

leaving for bogor at about noon by train from gambir station-jakarta.
tickets : 11.000/person. (got special price for 8.000!
:)
we met mas heru with the minibus and kim at hero pajajaran bogor.
then, we went to curug nangka, a waterfall area which located in ciampea, about 45 minutes from bogor city.
because it's weekend and busy hours on the street, we were arrived a bit late (4-4.30pm).
we walk to the nearest waterfall (about 15min.), the small waterfall there (forgot what its name), there are about 5 waterfalls in this waterfall area.
and one of them is curug nangka. we didnt get a chance to get there because it's already dark.
there is a camping area too, and near to the area, several accomodation are available.

we had coffee time and also glass-noodle there with our superb mini stove :) . in the dark, suddenly something fell and panicked us, ... a huge caterpillar! we packed right away under the single one tiny flashlight of mba peni, and continued the trip.

on the way, there was a wedding party which caused traffic jam on the street, finally we got out and decided to go to puncak pass.
but... wow, there were so many vehicles on the freeway of puncak direction. so, mas heru drove us to sentul. in sentul, there are interesting view of houses in many kind of types& extra view of dating couples :D
and on the way home to bogor, we visited desa gumati to use the toilets :)
then, we had dinner in one of tent restaurants at jl.pajajaran/bogor. so many people on the weekend, and there was a live music also near us.
last point was kim's house at bogor country. nice house with fragrant plants :D

next day, we went to tas tajur to buy bags. we also had our lunch there because there are some kiosk of typical bogor's food, such as durian ice cream, toge goreng, bakso mas popon, asinan bogor, roti unyil venus, etc.
and after that, we took angkot to factory outlets at jl.pangrango.

as we know, bogor is rain city. it's not complete if you visit bogor without walking in the rain :D
it was raining, even become heavier when we went to the bus terminal at about 4.30pm.
good that everybody arrived home safely, although some got flu because of the weather.

come again to bogor ya ! :)
